The Bulldog awaits word of its fate at Long Island’s Roosevelt Field. After flying the plane here on August 26th, 1932 Russ Thaw refuses to take the plane any further. Bob Hall spends the next 24 hours trying to convince Thaw and Marron Price Guggenheim to let him fly it in the National Air Races instead.
